To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the Government decided to organize a groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration ceremony for about 250 works and projects at 80 locations nationwide on August 19.
Of which, Hanoi has 8 key projects and works in the field of urban transport infrastructure.
Accordingly, the Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment Plant project with an area of 13.8 hectares, with a treatment capacity of 70,000m3/day and night, with a total investment of VND 11,197 billion, will be inaugurated on this occasion.

Along with that are 7 projects underway, including: Investment project to build a road connecting Gia Binh airport to the capital (section in Hanoi).
The road is 14km long, 120m wide, with a total investment of 42,450 billion VND (including site clearance of more than 8,100 billion VND; construction and consultation of 34,300 billion VND).
Component project 3 of the Ring Road 4 - Capital Region Construction Investment Project (public investment sub-project, Hong Ha bridge, Me So).
The project has a total length of about 113.52km (of which 103.82km is the main route and 9.7km is the connecting route towards Noi Bai - Ha Long Expressway), designed according to expressway standards, with a design speed of 100km/h.
The current phase is to invest in 4 lanes with a 17m wide roadbed and a bridge width of 7.5m (the Red River and Duong River overpasses alone are 24.5m wide). The completion phase of the scale of 6 complete expressway lanes (implemented later); investment in the construction of 8 complete interconnecting intersections (5 intersections in Hanoi, 2 intersections in Hung Yen province and 1 intersection in Bac Ninh province); completion of the Southwest intersection (in Bac Ninh province); investment in the construction of 7 up and down branches connecting to the two-way parallel road and other auxiliary works. The total investment of the project is 56,293 billion VND.

The project to build Van Phuc bridge and the road connecting to National Highway 32 (Phuc Tho commune, Hanoi) with a total length of 7.77km is designed to meet the standards of a grade 3 plain road, with a design speed of 80km/h.
The section from Van Phuc Bridge to National Highway 32 (4.81km long) has a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motorized vehicles. The Van Phuc bridge is 2.97km long (overpass in Van Coc lake area, approach bridge, main bridge across river) with a width of 20.5m, with a scale of 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles. The total investment of the project is 3,444 billion VND.

Component project 3 - To invest in the construction of Ngoc Hoi bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge will also be started on this occasion. The total length is about 7.5km, of which Hanoi city is about 5.2km, Hung Yen province is about 2.3km.
The starting point connects with the end point of the Ring Road 3.5 section from Phuc La - Van Phu to Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway, the end point Km7+500 connects with Ring Road 3.5.
The main bridge across the Red River is about 680m long, the main bridge is 32.3m wide, ensuring 6 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for mixed vehicles; the approach bridge is about 6.58km long, the approach bridge is 33m wide; synchronously build a technical infrastructure system, lighting, smart traffic system, traffic organization... The total investment of the project is 10,198 billion VND.
In addition, in Hanoi, there are also starting projects: Construction of a resettlement area (Dong Anh commune) under the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway investment project with a scale of 6 hectares; Construction of a resettlement area (Ngoc Hoi commune) under the high-speed railway construction project on the North-South axis with a scale of 0.92 hectares; Smart City project (Vinh Thanh commune) with a land use area of 271.45 hectares, divided into 5 implementation phases.
