Hanoi - The Chairman of the City People's Committee directed the inspection and handling of press information reflecting the situation of using waste to level agricultural land, creating a flat surface on the Red River alluvial plain.

On May 14, the City People's Committee issued an official dispatch on checking press information reflecting that thousands of square meters of agricultural land in the Red River alluvial area at the foot of Nhat Tan bridge, in Vinh Ngoc commune, Dong Anh district, had been illegally filled and built, and could not be stopped in time.

Regarding this, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Dong Anh District People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to urgently inspect and clarify the information reported by the press, and strictly handle it according to the provisions of law.

At the same time, consider the responsibility of collectives and individuals according to Directive No. 24-CT/TU dated August 7, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee "On strengthening discipline, discipline and responsibility for handling work in the city's political system" if violations occur; report to the City People's Committee on the implementation results before May 21, 2025.
