On the afternoon of September 13, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06, Ministry of Public Security) announced the implementation of the "Program to join hands to provide emergency relief to people affected by floods on the VNeID platform".
According to C06, as the unit managing and operating the National Population Database System, the Electronic Identification and Authentication System, and with the consensus and support of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the companionship and cooperation of business units and financial institutions, the urgent research and implementation of the program is very necessary, urgent and of great significance to the people in flood-affected areas, ensuring publicity, transparency, timeliness and effectiveness.
Through the VNeID application, we also share a message with our compatriots, comrades, and people in the flood-affected areas: “The People's Public Security Force deeply sympathizes with the very heavy losses that our compatriots and comrades have suffered due to the impact of storm No. 3. We vow to promote the spirit of "Sacrificing oneself for the country, serving the people", standing side by side with our compatriots and comrades to overcome all difficulties and dangers, quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, quickly stabilize life, and continue to develop the economy and society".
Colonel Vu Van Tan - Deputy Director of C06 - said that through the application of population data, the creditworthiness of borrowers will be assessed. People affected by floods will receive notices of support for unsecured loans from banks to have funds to stabilize their lives and production activities after natural disasters.
Colonel Tan hopes that the banks that have cooperated with the National Population Data Center in the past time will be determined to join hands with the Ministry of Public Security in general and the National Population Data Center in particular to ensure that all people in the flooded areas right after the program can access capital to soon stabilize their lives, repair their houses, workplaces, schools, etc.
"We hope that banks will accompany and be more determined to face all the hardships of people in flood-affected areas over the past few days," Colonel Tan shared.
