According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, after a week of launching, as of 11:00 a.m. on August 20, 2025, the campaign to support the Cuban people "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba" has achieved very impressive results when receiving more than 352 billion VND from more than 1.7 million donations, exceeding the initial minimum target.
This initial success shows the strong and extensive response of the community, affirming the strong influence of the spirit of international solidarity and the strong bond between the people of Vietnam and Cuba.
A representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society said that the highlight of the program was the transparency in the campaign process.
For the first time, the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) - the unit that built the Volunteer platform - has established a separate landing page, supporting the disclosure of statements and creating maximum favorable conditions for people to monitor and supervise contributions.
The program has received special attention from domestic and international press. Creative advocacy trends on social networks have been quickly responded to by the community, contributing to the strong spread of the spirit of humanity, solidarity and sharing.
During the implementation process, the program has received attention and direction from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, close coordination from units and many major press and media agencies.
In the coming time, the program will promote the reception and mobilization of agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals to further promote the spread of the program.
At the same time, transparency will continue to be focused on through the effective operation of the Volunteer application system with accounts 2022, ensuring publicity in receiving and using resources.
Communication work will also be promoted, not only to mobilize resources but also to spread humanistic values, affirming the strong international solidarity and unity between the people of the two countries.
