Hanoi - According to Chuong My Commune People's Committee, there are currently cases where there is no coordination in counting and confirming the origin of land, affecting the progress of the National Highway 6 upgrade project.

On May 6, Chuong My Ward People's Committee held a meeting with the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to review the progress of site clearance (GPMB) for the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section.

At the conference, representatives of the Economic - Urban Infrastructure Department briefly reported on the project implementation progress. Accordingly, the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section, has a length of 3.658km passing through Chuong My ward, with a total recovered area of about 21.1ha/814 land plots.

Up to now, site clearance work has achieved initial results: the ward has handed over to the investor 1.62km/3,658km (reaching 44.28%), equivalent to 9.21ha with 194/814 land plots.

In which, the area of Chuc Son town (old) and Tien Phuong commune (old) achieved a high handover rate, mainly public land and agricultural land; especially the Bien Giang ward area (old) progress is still slow, reaching about 10.2%. Currently, about 1.45km is under construction.

Regarding inventory work, 787/814 land plots have been investigated and surveyed; land recovery notices have been issued reaching 100%. However, there are still some cases that have not coordinated inventory, have not confirmed the origin of land, affecting the overall progress.

The conference also pointed out many difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process such as: some land areas have not clearly identified the origin and owners due to the process of buying and selling through many generations of owners; some households have not agreed with the compensation plan; the disclosure of the plan has not been completed; the resettlement land fund is still limited...

Representatives of the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board directly explained each outstanding content, and clarified the causes, proposed specific handling directions for each group of issues; committed to closely coordinate with localities to accelerate the progress of completing dossiers, appraising plans and organizing payment and handover of land according to the plan.

Speaking to direct at the conference, Mr. Vu Ngoc Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee emphasized the requirement to be more drastic in propaganda and mobilization work, creating consensus among the people; minimize the mandatory inventory.

Mr. Hoa requested relevant units to specifically review each case that still has problems, develop a clear handling roadmap, strengthen coordination, mobilize maximum resources, and strive to accelerate the site clearance progress, ensuring completion according to the timeline assigned by the City before June 30, 2026.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Nguyen Phung Hung requested units to focus highly on key tasks: urgently complete and approve compensation, support, and resettlement plans; accelerate the work of counting and confirming the origin of land; organize the public disclosure of plans in accordance with regulations; strengthen dialogue and mobilize households with problems.

Mr. Hung emphasized the clear assignment of people, work, and progress for each content; regular meetings, weekly progress reviews, and timely removal of arising difficulties.

Mr. Nguyen Phung Hung affirmed that the Ward People's Committee will mobilize maximum human resources, strengthen coordination with the Project Management Board and related units, determined to accelerate the site clearance progress, ensuring the completion of tasks in accordance with the City's direction before June 30, 2026.
