On March 21, the People's Committee of Con Dao district said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (September 30), the Liberation of Con Dao (May 1), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19) and other holidays, the locality has planned to organize many commemorative and entertainment activities in the area.
Con Dao district will hold a visit to Hang Duong Cemetery, Con Dao Temple, Hang Keo Cemetery on May 27.; organize a culinary area with the theme "Folk Cuisine of the Three regions" scheduled to take place from April 29 to March 3 on Nguyen Hue Street, to serve people and tourists.
Notably, on the occasion of April 30, a raft competition will take place; the 19th traditional raft competition festival will take place at the 914 Bridge Relic. Some other sports activities such as tournaments: men's and women's football; indoor volleyball; badminton; table tennis; pickleball... will also be organized by the locality in the period of May-May 2025.
Some activities and playgrounds are also organized by Con Dao in the Nguyen Hue - Le Hong Phong extended roundabout area; organize the activity "Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 21.4"; display books at Le Hong Phong Secondary School and organize a book fair...
