The DT.719B coastal axis road project, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section, is the route connecting Mui Ke Ga to Dinh Thay Thim, La Gi town, Binh Thuan. The route is 10.3 Km long, with a total investment of about 644 billion VND. The project started construction in December 2022.

On the afternoon of April 23, many motor vehicles were recorded at the construction site in the Hon Lan section of Tan Thanh commune, Ham Thuan Nam district.
Regarding site clearance, the total land area to be recovered for the project is 41.8 hectares/230 records, of which La Gi town has 16.8 hectares/105 records and Ham Thuan Nam district has 25 hectares/125 records. There have been 229 dossiers approving compensation plans, there is still 1 dossier in Ham Thuan Nam district and 184/230 dossiers have been paid.

The District Land Fund Development Center has coordinated with investors, construction units and localities to encourage households to hand over the site in advance of about 9.5/10.3 Km. After being allocated land by the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, the two localities are currently considering allocating resettlement land to households whose land is recovered under the coastal road project DT.719B, Hon Lan - Tan Hai section.

The Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that in the past time, the investor has proactively coordinated with relevant departments, branches and localities to speed up the project implementation progress, especially compensation, site clearance, speed up construction progress and disbursement of project capital.

Also according to this unit, the construction progress and disbursement of the project have made positive changes. However, the progress has not met the requirements, compensation and site clearance are still slow to affect the construction progress and disbursement of the project's capital. Therefore, localities need to soon complete the compensation and hand over the project ground to the investor.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinates with relevant departments and branches to guide the two localities to resolve difficulties and problems in compensation and site clearance according to current regulations.

The DT.719B coastal axis road project, the Hon Lan - Tan Hai section, when completed, will connect the D.719B coastal axis and open an inter-regional traffic route, opening up opportunities for economic development, especially the tourism industry of Ham Thuan Nam and Ham Tan districts, La Gi town, forming the shortest road axis connecting Phan Thiet via National Highway 55 to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Previously, on April 19, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province held the inauguration ceremony of the coastal axis road DT.719B from National Highway 1 to Suoi Nhum bridge.
