Component project 4 of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway project has a total length of more than 58 km, 46 bridges over the river, fields and routes. To date, contractors have deployed 41 48 bridges.

Recorded at Bridge 29, part of Package No. 10, engineers and workers of Dat Phuong Group Joint Stock Company are urgently completing the final items.
Mr. Hoang Ngoc Giang - the company's on-site technical officer - said that the unit is constructing two important bridges in this package, Bridge 29 (overpass leading to the highway) and Bridge 22 (overpass over National Highway 1A in Dai Tam commune, My Xuyen district). Currently, Bridge 29 only has a few auxiliary items, while Bridge 22 is in the process of pouring T2 pillar abutments, expected to be completed on July 31.
Mr. Giang added that the unit is implementing 5 construction teams, including 3 main construction teams and 2 completion teams, with a total of 55 workers working. Sunny weather is also a favorable factor to help improve the quality of the project. Up to now, the bridge construction progress of this package has exceeded the contract by 15%.
In package 11, the construction atmosphere was also bustling. The contractor has gathered all materials, equipment and machinery to put one of the 12 bridges in this package into use by the end of April.

Mr. Trinh Van Manh - Project Management Director of Truong Son Construction Corporation - said that package 11 is nearly 13 km long and includes 12 overpasses. The progress of the bridges reached 62% of the contract value, all exceeding the plan and it is expected to complete all 12 bridges in 2025. The overpass over Provincial Road 936 is being urgently constructed, completed and put into use on April 30, 2025.
Information from Project Management Board 2 - Investor of Component Project 4, up to now, the total construction output of the project has reached 25% of the contract value. The road section has reached nearly 12%, the bridge section has reached about 55%. In general, the project implementation progress is being guaranteed according to the requirements of Resolution No. 91 of the Government and the detailed plan of the province.
The locality is making efforts to remove difficulties in sand sources to speed up progress. It is expected that by June 30, the total output of river sand exploited for the project can reach 3.3 million m3, contributing to significantly reducing the shortage and ensuring the progress of roadbed relocation.
