On that basis, the signing of the Coordination Regulation between the Fire and Rescue Police force of An Giang, Dong Thap, Ca Mau provinces and Can Tho city is of utmost importance, contributing to concretizing the policy of the Ministry of Public Security on strengthening inter-regional coordination in fire prevention, fighting and rescue. The Regulation will create a unified legal basis for units to strengthen coordination and mutual support in mobilizing forces and vehicles, unifying command and operation, and at the same time improving the capacity to effectively coordinate in handling fires, explosions, incidents, and accidents of complex nature or exceeding the response capacity of each locality.

With the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and cooperation, the Coordination Regulation after being signed will soon go into practice, promote practical effectiveness, build an increasingly close, proactive and flexible coordination mechanism between the Fire and Rescue Police force of localities; thereby improving the quality of fire fighting, rescue, and salvage work, protecting the lives and property of the people, contributing to maintaining security, order and effectively serving the socio-economic development tasks of the region.
