On the evening of September 6, the 2026 Pickleball World Cup officially closed at Tien Son Sports Palace, Da Nang City. With the participation of a large number of domestic and international athletes and fans, the tournament took place safely and smoothly, leaving many good impressions.
Contributing to that overall success, Da Nang City Police proactively and synchronously deployed plans to ensure security, order (ANTT), traffic safety, fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue throughout the tournament, from August 30 to the end of the closing night.
Closely following the organization plan and the actual situation, Da Nang City Police have synchronously deployed plans to ensure social order and safety, proactively deploying forces in key areas. Strengthening patrols, controls, traffic diversion, traffic regulation and timely handling of arising situations.
In particular, in the afternoon and evening of September 6, at Tien Son Sports Palace, the Police force was deployed to protect both the inner and outer rings, with teams and checkpoints deployed according to the plan, ensuring safety for athletes, organizers, guests and fans.
In particular, the number of people and vehicles flocking to Tien Son Sports Palace increased. Areas around the gymnasium and adjacent roads became bustling when a large number of spectators came to watch the final activities of the tournament, especially the final matches with the participation of the Vietnamese Pickleball team.
Faced with that situation, the Police forces continued to maintain troops at key positions, organize traffic diversion and regulation, ensure social order and safety for people, athletes, and guests when arriving and leaving the closing ceremony area.
During the days of the tournament, the City Police Command Information Center received and supported many cases of finding forgotten property. Practical and timely actions have contributed to spreading the image of close, responsible, and dedicated police officers.
In the closing night, the Open Team final match took place at Tien Son Sports Palace between the Vietnamese team and the US team. After 4 tense matches, the Vietnamese team stopped before the opponent with a final score of 0-4.
Closing the tournament at Da Nang home stadium, the Vietnamese team also made a mark with outstanding achievements in many events, leading the overall medal standings with 106 Gold Medals.
