Police help woman find nearly 1 tael of gold and 13 million VND dropped

Dong Nai - Binh Phuoc Ward Police have helped a woman find her handbag containing nearly 1 tael of gold and 13 million VND that was lost.

On June 7, Binh Phuoc Ward Police (Dong Nai City) said that they had organized the return of a large amount of lost property to Ms. Vo Thi Nhu Mai (55 years old, residing in Sa Dec ward, Dong Thap province).

Previously, at about 4 am on June 6, Ms. Mai moved to her daughter's house in Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai city. During the movement, Ms. Mai unfortunately dropped a handbag containing 1 mobile phone, 9.5 taels of 24K gold, 13 million VND in cash and many personal papers.

Immediately after receiving Ms. Mai's report, Binh Phuoc Ward Police assigned officers to urgently deploy verification and review of the area where the incident occurred. After 4 hours of verification, the Police force identified the person who picked up the handbag and mobilized them to hand over all assets to return to the owner.

Binh Phuoc Ward Police organized the handover of all the above assets to Ms. Mai. Upon receiving the assets, Ms. Mai expressed her emotion and thanked Binh Phuoc Ward Police and the person who picked up the handbag.
