Hanoi City Police on February 12 said that the Hanoi City Police Inspectorate has just organized a conference to randomly select people whose assets and incomes will be verified in 2025.
Speaking to direct, Colonel Doan Duc Thang - Chief Inspector of Hanoi Police Department, head of the Asset and Income Control Agency of Hanoi Police Department emphasized: Implementing Plan No. 16 dated January 29, 2026 approved by the Director of Hanoi Police Department, the draw is organized publicly, transparently, ensuring objectivity and proportionality according to regulations.
The work of controlling and verifying assets and income is a key task in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; contributing to building the Party and building a clean and strong Capital Police force.
The verification aims to clarify the truthfulness of the declaration, promptly detect and handle violations (if any), and at the same time raise awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers in complying with regulations on declaration, disclosure and control of assets and income.
At the conference, the City Police Inspectorate and representatives of units conducted a draw for 16 units under control. The results randomly selected 39 people to be verified for assets and income in 2025, including 17 comrades who are department leaders, commune-level commanders and 22 comrades holding the titles of investigators and full-time accountants.
Immediately after the conference, the City Police Inspectorate will report to the Director of the City Police, notify the results to relevant units and individuals and deploy verification in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security, ensuring strictness, seriousness, and compliance with the law.
