According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, the whole province has 24,853 candidates registered to take the 10th grade entrance exam, arranged in 1,061 exam rooms corresponding to 59 exam councils.
The Education sector has mobilized 4,459 personnel to serve the exam. Among them, there are 59 chairmen of the exam council, 118 vice chairmen of the exam council, 118 secretaries, 2,160 invigilators, 1,296 supervisors, 472 police officers at the exam sites and many other service staff.
According to the exam schedule, on the morning of May 28, candidates take the Literature exam in essay form; in the afternoon of the same day, the Math exam combines multiple-choice and essay. On the morning of May 29, candidates take the English exam in a combination of multiple-choice and essay form.
For candidates taking the exam for 2 specialized schools in the province, non-specialized subjects including Literature, Mathematics and English will be tested with the same questions and schedule as candidates taking the exam for other public high schools.
In the afternoon of May 29, candidates registering for specialized schools will take the specialized subject in essay form, and the Informatics subject will be tested on computer programming.
The total target for non-specialized grade 10 enrollment in the 2026-2027 school year is 19,045 students, while 2 specialized schools enroll 525 students. Exam results are expected to be announced before June 30.
