Due to the impact of storm No. 1, from July 5 to July 7, heavy prolonged rain occurred in Tua Thang commune, Dien Bien province. The highest measured rainfall was 220.6mm, causing landslides, broken and fallen green trees, posing many potential safety risks.
Promoting the "4 on-the-spot" motto, Tua Thang Commune Police mobilized 22 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local forces to implement response measures, support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and ensure safety for people and property.

According to preliminary statistics, heavy rain caused landslides on many roads in Cong Hoa, Tu Cha, Pe Rang Ky, Hong Ngai and Hoa Ban villages. Among them, 2 households had to be urgently relocated due to being located in areas at high risk of landslides.
Currently, Tua Thang Commune Police continue to maintain duty and combat duty 24/24 hours, closely monitor the area, monitor weather developments, and be ready to mobilize forces and vehicles to promptly handle arising situations.
