Information from the Ministry of Public Security, in order to ensure network security and information security during the 14th Party Congress, in its role as a "digital shield", the Department of Network Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police) has proactively deployed comprehensive and synchronous professional measures, firmly grasping the situation from early, remote, and grassroots levels;
Proactively identify and accurately forecast the situation, subjects, and issues related to network security. From there, have effective preventive and countermeasures, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.
Accordingly, the Network Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention force (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police) has coordinated with functional units to prevent and remove bad and toxic information, incitement, and distortion; Prevent and fight against crimes that take advantage of high technology and cyberspace to operate; Proactively grasp the situation to have effective prevention and combat measures, and resolutely handle violations.
For cases of misunderstanding and incomplete awareness, the unit actively propagates and mobilizes people to understand and properly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws.
With the assigned functions and tasks, Vinh Long Provincial Police have proactively and synchronously deployed many measures to control and orient information in cyberspace during the 14th Party Congress.
Thereby, consolidating the trust of cadres, party members and people, creating unity in awareness and action throughout society.
Also according to Vinh Long Provincial Police, taking advantage of the time when the 14th National Party Congress is taking place, hostile and reactionary forces and political opportunists continue to increase sabotage activities in cyberspace with many sophisticated tricks such as spreading false information, distorting document content, distorting personnel work, inciting suspicion, internal division, causing information disruption.
Faced with that situation, the work of grasping the situation in cyberspace related to the 14th Party Congress is deployed regularly and continuously. Functional units focus on monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating the developments of public opinion, promptly detecting negative and untrue information, showing signs of law violations or affecting political security, social order and safety.
Notably, during the 14th Party Congress, propaganda and orientation of public opinion in cyberspace were strongly and synchronously deployed. Press and media agencies actively reflected promptly and vividly the serious, democratic and responsible working atmosphere of the Congress.
Thereby spreading positive information, important contents being discussed and decided. Contributing to creating an atmosphere of excitement and trust among cadres, party members and people across the country, and at the same time strengthening social consensus on the Party's major guidelines and policies.
