According to information from Lang Son Provincial Police, in the first quarter of 2025, the police force in the province investigated and clarified 109 cases related to social order, arrested 222 subjects, achieving a rate of 84.4% of case solvency.
Notably, all very serious and extremely serious cases were discovered, reaching a rate of 100%.
In addition, the provincial police have detected and handled 87 cases with 126 subjects violating economic and environmental laws.
In the field of drug crime prevention and control, the authorities arrested 78 cases, 149 subjects; seized 131.5 grams of heroin, 2,273 tablets and 6.5 grams of synthetic drugs, along with many related exhibits.
Also in the first 3 months of the year, together with the national police, Lang Son Provincial Police proactively implemented the Project to reorganize the police apparatus at the provincial and district levels.
At the same time, the unit also received 4 new functions and tasks from other departments and branches with a methodical and scientific implementation method, creating consensus and a competitive spirit in the entire force.
Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung - Director of Lang Son Provincial Police highly appreciated the spirit of effort and determination to overcome difficulties of officers and soldiers in the context of restructuring the organizational apparatus.
At the same time, it is required that units continue to innovate and be determined in directing and implementing key tasks in the coming time.
"The police force at all levels needs to strengthen close monitoring of the area, proactively grasp and forecast the situation, and effectively advise local Party committees and authorities. In particular, ensuring absolute safety for Party congresses at all levels and important political events," emphasized the head of the Provincial Police.
He also requested to step up attacks and suppress all types of crimes, especially criminal crimes and social evils; at the same time, improve the effectiveness of state management of security and order, and better serve the people.
