On September 6, An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the People's Police University to visit a special national relic, President Ton Duc Thang Relic Site (My Hoa Hung Commune, An Giang Province) to offer flowers and flowers to President Ton Duc Thang and his two wives.
On this occasion, the delegation also coordinated with philanthropists and the People's Committee of My Hoa Hung commune, An Giang province to organize many meaningful activities, such as: propagating skills to prevent fraud in cyberspace; examining, giving free medicine and giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances in My Hoa Hung commune, Uncle Ton's hometown.
The working group organized medical examinations, health consultations, medicine distribution and gifts for 300 people in the commune; presented 50 gifts (including milk, candy, helmets, books) to students in combination with propaganda on skills to prevent fraud in cyberspace. The total cost of the activities is about 155 million VND.
This is one of a series of practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025; 137 years of President Ton Duc Thang's birthday (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2025); 80 years of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Through activities to raise awareness and self-protection skills for students and people against increasingly sophisticated scams in cyberspace; at the same time, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and care for the lives of policy families, poor households, and students in difficult circumstances.
On the same morning, the delegation offered flowers and incense, took a moment of silence to commemorate and express their deep gratitude for the great contributions of President Ton Duc Thang - the loyal and great leader of the Vietnamese people, the outstanding son of the land of An Giang in the South as a copper province.
