On March 2nd, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leaders of Hoang Tien Commune People's Committee, Thanh Hoa province, said that the locality is assigning the Commune Police to verify and clarify the illegal dumping of garbage on Hai Tien beach.

After grasping the information, we directed the Commune Police to take the lead and coordinate with the Economic Department to inspect and verify. Initially, it was determined that the act of dumping garbage into the sea is illegal. Therefore, the local government's point of view is that when there are verification results, they will be strictly handled according to regulations" - representative of Hoang Tien Commune People's Committee informed.

Also according to this representative, through initial verification, the incident occurred at about 3 pm on March 1. Regarding the amount of garbage dumped on the beach, it is still not possible to determine, and functional forces are still clarifying.

Previously, information appeared on social networks that during sightseeing in the Hon Bo bridge area, visiting But Pagoda (in Hoang Tien commune), people and tourists discovered a number of trucks carrying garbage from the area near the embankment, taking it to the beach (next to Hon Bo bridge) to dump it into the sea.

After many trips, garbage was dumped into large piles near the water's edge, including tree branches, nylon bags, waste and many other types of garbage. The incident was recorded by people and tourists and posted on social networks.

Immediately after the image was posted, it attracted the attention of the online community, and opinions condemned the above action.
