Police investigate male student scuffle in Tay Nha Trang ward

Khanh Hoa - The police agency is coordinating with local authorities and the school to verify and clarify the incident of many male students scuffling, causing public uproar.

On February 4, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh Minh - Chairman of Tay Nha Trang Ward People's Committee confirmed that he had assigned the police force to coordinate with the Board of Directors of Luong The Vinh Secondary School to investigate and clarify the incident of many male students scuffling in the area.

According to local leaders, functional agencies will invite parents and related students to work to specifically verify the content of the incident.

Previously, on social networks, a parent reflected that her son, who is in 6th grade, was ganged up on by 6 classmates of Luong The Vinh Secondary School.

After the incident occurred, the 6th grade male student was taken by his family to Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital for treatment. Local authorities also visited and encouraged this student.

Regarding the handling direction, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh Minh said that it will be handled in the spirit of education, while ensuring deterrence to prevent the recurrence of similar acts.

Along with that, the People's Committee of Tay Nha Trang ward has directed the Board of Directors of Luong The Vinh Secondary School to strengthen the management, monitoring and education of students in the coming time.
