In recent times, the Kien Lao Commune Police force, Bac Ninh Province in general and the members and young people of the Commune Police in particular have always been close to the grassroots, listened to, understood and promptly supported, accompanied and helped those in difficult circumstances. Thereby, it has contributed to helping people stabilize their lives and actively participate in building a movement for the entire people to protect national security in the area.
Through working in the grassroots area, Kien Lao Commune Police learned that the family of Mr. Bui Van Yeu (35 years old, residing in Khuon Than village, Kien Lao commune) belongs to a particularly disadvantaged household in the commune. The couple are all in poor health, have unstable incomes and are raising 6 children, making life even more difficult.
On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, Kien Lao Commune Police and benefactors in the commune donated 2 bicycles to help Mr. Bui Van Yeu's children have means to go to school. It is also known that due to the impact of the recent storm No. 5, his family's kitchen's roof was blown off, causing difficulties in daily life.
In order to promptly support and help the family, on the morning of September 21, the Youth Union of the Commune Police Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Kien Lao Commune and benefactors to join hands to support Mr. Yeu to renovate the kitchen.
This is also one of a series of activities in the "Good deeds every month" program that the members of the Commune Police Youth Union registered with the Commune Youth Union. These meaningful activities both demonstrate the spirit and responsibility of the young people of the Commune Police towards the community and are also an opportunity for young officers and soldiers to practice their qualities and sense of responsibility for serving the people.
