On October 29, Tan An Ward Police, Dak Lak Province informed that the unit is coordinating with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Provincial Police) to consolidate records to handle 2 women for posting false information on social networks.

The subjects being handled are Ms. H (32 years old) and Ms. L (32 years old), both residing in Tan An ward.

Previously, on the morning of October 25, through the work of grasping the situation on cyberspace, the authorities discovered 2 Facebook accounts posting 2 articles.

The content: "At about 4:00 a.m. the same day, in front of Dien May Xanh - Dat Ly store, Tan An ward, 3 men kidnapped a girl".

After being published, both articles attracted the attention of the online community. Many comments expressed confusion and concern.

Tan An Ward Police sent forces to Dien May Xanh - Dat Ly store to work with related people, and extracted camera footage to verify the information.

Thereby, the police determined that the above kidnapping information was untrue. Immediately afterwards, the authorities verified and clarified that the people who posted the above article were Ms. H and Ms. L.
