On October 28, in the face of prolonged floods causing widespread power outages, Hue Power Company (Co., Ltd.) opened a guesthouse at 100 Nguyen Hue (Hue City) to welcome people who need to temporarily rest and live safely.
According to information from the Company, the guest house currently has electricity, with 30 rooms that ensure essential living conditions. People in the area are invited to stay temporarily during the time to fix the problem caused by floods.

On the same morning, while checking the power grid in the Tran Phu Street area (Hue City), the Company's staff discovered a female patient looking for a way to Hue Central Hospital for emergency care.
Due to many roads being deeply flooded, ambulances could not be reached, electricity workers promptly supported the patient's transportation through the flooded area, and coordinated with Thuan Hoa Ward Police to use a boat to bring the patient to the hospital safely and promptly for emergency care.

Up to now, about 202,000 customers (accounting for 59%) in the city have had their power supply interrupted; 1,483 transformer stations (49%) have had to temporarily suspend operations to ensure safety. The water level on the rivers has decreased by 0.4m compared to the flood peak at 8:00 p.m. on October 27, but is expected to recede slowly, and will not be until this evening to alert level 3.
Hue Power Company further informed that the unit is closely monitoring the water level to restore partial power supply, ensuring absolute safety for people. The inspection and restore power supply process is done carefully, so more time will be needed.
