On weekends, many people bring their children and relatives to the Nhon Ai Commune Police headquarters (Can Tho City) to complete procedures for issuing ID cards, registering and activating level 2 electronic identification accounts to respond to the "60 days and nights campaign to guide people to activate and integrate information and data on VNeID level 2".

Recorded by reporters on the evening of May 23, at the headquarters of Nhon Ai Commune Police, officers and soldiers continuously guided people to implement the steps of declaring information, taking photos, collecting biometrics and integrating electronic papers on the VNeID application.
Not only supporting at headquarters, the police force also directly went to homes to guide people on how to install and activate electronic identification accounts.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Lich - Head of Nhon Ai Commune Police said that on weekends, the unit arranges staff to be on duty continuously, including outside office hours and in the evening to support people to activate VNeID level 2 accounts, integrate personal papers such as: health insurance, driver's license, vehicle registration...
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Lich, during the process of going to the area, the Police force encountered many real-life situations. Some people changed their phone numbers, so they did not receive an authentication code; in many cases, phones have low configurations, full memory, or applications have not been updated, leading to difficulties in activating VNeID...

In addition, many elderly people are not used to using smartphones, so officials must directly guide each step, explain specifically about the utilities of the application so that people understand and feel secure in using it. There are households that go to work during the day and are only at home in the evening, so the police force has to take advantage of off-hours to support.
Difficulties are definitely there, because the workload is large while the grassroots police force is still thin, having to perform many other professional tasks in parallel. There are days when the brothers work continuously from morning to night to take advantage of the time when people are at home or after work.
We determine that supporting people to activate and use VNeID effectively is not only an administrative task but also an important solution to build digital government, digital society, serving people better and better," Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Lich shared.

In Phong Nam commune, the image of commune police youth union members carrying phones, tablets, and propaganda materials to each household has become familiar on roads and residential areas in the commune.
With the motto "going through each alley, typing each house, checking each person, checking each data", youth union members directly support people to install and activate level 2 electronic identification accounts; guide the integration of health insurance cards, driver's licenses, electronic health certificates and use the utilities on the VNeID application.
In particular, youth union members focus on supporting students preparing for enrollment in 10th grade and participating in the 2026 high school graduation exam, ensuring convenience in carrying out related procedures on the electronic environment.
Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police informed that the deployment work must be synchronous and unified from the city to the commune level; the form of propaganda must be suitable for each area, each subject, with focus and key points. The tasks must be linked to the mechanism of monitoring, supervising, and evaluating by specific results and data.
Previously, on May 20, Can Tho City Police organized a Conference to deploy and thoroughly grasp solutions and plans to ensure effective implementation of the "60 days and nights campaign to guide people to activate and integrate information and data on VNeID level 2".
