On the evening of January 22, Hanoi City Police said that the Task Force of the Rapid Response Police Team, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police, discovered and prevented trucks from illegally dumping construction materials into the environment in Binh Minh commune.
Accordingly, at about 1:42 am on January 21, during patrol and control in Binh Minh commune, the Task Force of the Rapid Response Police Team, Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police discovered a truck with license plate 30M-354.xx dumping construction materials into the rice field area in Thuong 2 village, Binh Minh commune.
Immediately after that, the Task Force requested the driver to stop all waste dumping activities, and at the same time forced them to collect the materials that had been illegally dumped into the rice field area.
Through initial work, the driver was identified as N.T.T (born in 1989; registered permanent residence in Ung Thien commune, Hanoi) and admitted to the act of illegally dumping construction materials into the environment.
The working group made a record and handed over the person and exhibits to Binh Minh Commune Police for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
In the coming time, Hanoi City Police forces will continue to strengthen patrols and inspections, promptly detect and strictly handle violations of urban order and environmental sanitation, contributing to preserving the landscape and people's lives in the area.
