On the morning of February 2nd, Mr. Lai Van Tai - Chairman of Dien Tho Commune People's Committee said that the locality has sent a report to the Provincial People's Committee and Khanh Hoa Provincial Police on the results of allocating national reserve rice to support people affected by floods in the area.
Previously, information appeared on social networks that 13.3 tons of rice distributed by Khanh Hoa province to Dien Tho commune had not reached the people, causing mixed public opinion.
According to a report by Dien Tho Commune People's Committee, the locality has received 13.3 tons of relief rice to distribute to households in areas affected by floods, including: houses deeply flooded, areas at risk of landslides that must be evacuated and relocated; areas isolated for many days.
In which, priority is given to poor households, near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances, with a support level of 15kg/person.


Up to now, Dien Tho commune has identified and distributed to 256 households with 887 people, a total quantity of 13,305kg of rice, ensuring publicity and in accordance with regulations.
Relief rice is distributed to 8 villages in Dien Tho commune, of which Phuoc Tuy 1 and Phuoc Tuy 2 villages are allocated 2,025kg each for 135 people. Pho Thien village is allocated 1,875kg for 125 people; Phuoc Luong village 1,890kg for 126 people. Dong Be village receives 1,500kg for 100 people; An Dinh village 1,515kg for 101 people. Le Thanh village is allocated 1,125kg for 75 people and Cam Son village receives 1,350kg for 90 people.
Representatives of Dien Tho Commune People's Committee affirmed that all 13,305kg of rice has been fully distributed to households eligible for support.
In order to promptly support people affected by floods, localities in Khanh Hoa province and some neighboring areas have organized the receipt and distribution of national reserve rice according to the plan, with a large total volume, deployed from November 25 to December 1, 2025.
In the Khanh Son - Dien Khanh - Van Ninh - Khanh Vinh area, many communes such as Tay Khanh Son, Dien Khanh, Dien Dien, Dien Lac, Dien Tho, Van Ninh, Tu Bong, Van Thang, Van Hung, Suoi Hiep, Dien Lam, Khanh Vinh, Tay Khanh Vinh, Nam Khanh Vinh and Trung Khanh Vinh received hundreds of tons of rice to support people, mainly concentrated from November 26 to 28.
In the Ninh Hoa - Cam Lam - Suoi Dau - Nha Trang area, localities such as Ninh Hoa, Nam Ninh Hoa, Hoa Thang, Tan Dinh, Suoi Dau, Cam Lam wards and Bac, Nam and Tay wards of Nha Trang have received more than 700 tons of rice on November 29 and 30, lasting until December 1, 2025 in some central wards.
In the Cam Ranh area and districts and towns of Ninh Thuan province, including Bac Cam Ranh, Ba Ngoi, Nam Cam Ranh, Dong Hai, Phuoc Dinh, Thuan Nam, Ca Na, Xuan Hai, Bac Ai, Do Vinh, Bao An, Phan Rang, Ninh Phuoc, Phuoc Hau, Thuan Bac and My Son, the rice reception was deployed simultaneously on November 26 and 27, with a total volume of hundreds of tons.
