Thanks to quick response, using lifting vehicles to move goods and mobilizing a series of mini fire extinguishers, a group of workers at a paper factory on Tran Thi He street (Hiep Thanh ward) successfully controlled the fire right from the start.
At about 5 pm on March 9, smoke and fire suddenly broke out in the production area of a paper workshop located on Tran Thi He street, Hiep Thanh ward, Ho Chi Minh City. At this time, dozens of workers working inside panicked and shouted to each other to put out the fire.

Because the workshop contained all flammable materials, the fire was at risk of spreading very quickly. In an emergency situation, the group of workers quickly controlled a specialized lifting vehicle, continuously moving paper packages and belongings to a safe area outside the road. This action not only helped minimize property damage but also created a distance to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring factories.
At the same time as moving goods, other workers mobilized a series of mini fire extinguishers, continuously spraying into the fire area. Thanks to the smooth and drastic coordination of local forces, the fire was basically controlled before functional forces approached.
Immediately after that, local Fire and Rescue Police and specialized vehicles were present at the scene and continued to spray water to cool down the entire production area to prevent the fire from re-emerging.
The fire did not cause any casualties. Currently, functional agencies are blockading the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
