According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, at the North-South railway overpass cable-stayed bridge project on the East-West Highway (Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province), the main items have been completed. This is one of the projects to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.

Recorded on January 19, vehicles can already circulate on one side of the lane. On the remaining lane, workers are urgently constructing and completing the final parts to soon put the project into operation throughout the route in the next few days.
Sharing with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Mai Van My (worker of Phuc An Co., Ltd.) said that in recent days, workers have focused on installing decorative items and patterns at the cable-stayed railway overpass to soon complete the project, serving the travel needs of people.

This is a large, key project, so the brothers are continuously constructing from morning to night, trying their best to ensure the set schedule. It is expected that in the next 1-2 days, when the final items are completed, people can travel on both sides of the bridge," Mr. My excitedly said.
Like Mr. My, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan (worker of Phuc An Co., Ltd.) said that in recent days, workers have always stayed at the construction site with a spirit of urgent work. This is a project to celebrate a major event of the country, so everyone is making the highest efforts, with the goal of completing it soon, ensuring quality and meeting the travel needs of the people.


Previously, on December 19, 2025, the North-South railway overpass project was technically opened to traffic. The project is permanently built of reinforced concrete, designed as a cable-stayed bridge, with a total investment of 647 billion VND. The bridge deck is 25 m wide, arranged with 4 lanes for motorized vehicles and 2 mixed lanes.
The project started in May 2024, of which the construction cost is more than 513 billion VND, the rest is for site clearance and related items.

According to the design, the project has a total length of nearly 800 m, including a main bridge more than 276 m long and a system of access roads at both ends of the bridge over 500 m long. The highlight of the project is the steel cable system designed and constructed solidly, combined with decorative LED lighting systems, creating a night aesthetic effect, contributing to the formation of a traffic project bearing the imprint of modern urban architecture.
