The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a particularly important political event, opening a new stage of development for the country in a context of many intertwined opportunities and challenges.
Joining that joyful atmosphere, union members and workers in Dak Lak province expressed many expectations and placed their trust in the major policies of the Congress, hoping that the Party will continue to lead the country to develop quickly and sustainably, ensuring progress and social justice.

Dak Lak province currently has about 60,000 union members and workers. Among them, many workers are ethnic minorities working in industrial zones and clusters.
Ms. Ksor H'Vo, a worker at Tan An Industrial Cluster, said that workers expect the 14th Congress to propose breakthrough policies and guidelines to develop the economy quickly and sustainably, especially for areas with many difficulties such as the Central Highlands.
According to Ms. H'Vo, workers hope that the Central Government and localities will pay attention to implementing many social housing projects, helping workers in difficult circumstances to settle down, feel secure to stick with and contribute to businesses.
Along with that, the regional minimum wage needs to continue to be adjusted appropriately, gradually improving income, meeting the daily living needs of workers.
The belief of Dak Lak workers in the 14th Congress is also reflected in the expectation that the Party will continue to improve the system of social security policies, and better protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

Mr. Pham Van Truong, a worker at Hoa Phu Industrial Park, expressed his wish that the upcoming Party Congress will have more practical policies for workers' lives, from salaries, social insurance, health insurance to housing, safe working conditions and a healthy working environment.
He believes that with the correct guidelines and the viewpoint of "taking people as the center", the Party will have fundamental solutions so that no one is left behind.
Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that in the coming time, trade union levels in the province will continue to participate in building a clean and strong Party; and at the same time promote the role of a bridge between the Party and the working class and laborers.
According to Mr. Thanh, trade unions at all levels will actively introduce outstanding union members to the Party, participate in social criticism, contribute opinions to build the government, and contribute to the socio-political stability of the locality.
These activities will help union members and workers better understand their position, role, and responsibility as well as the trade union organization in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, and at the same time enhance the prestige and position of the trade union organization in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country.
