On April 1, the leader of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) informed about the plan to organize activities for Workers' Month and Month of Action on occupational safety and hygiene in 2025.
With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era", Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor aims to affirm the role of workers in the cause of national renewal, encourage workers to improve their skills, be creative and adapt to the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.
The event is associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; 139 years of International Labor Day; 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday; welcoming party congresses at all levels. And in conjunction with the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".
Outstanding activities include: the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era"; organizing a contest to propose initiatives, improve techniques and commend outstanding workers.
The "May Dialogue" Program and the "Party with Workers - Workers with the Party" Forum will create a bridge between the government, businesses and workers to solve practical problems. Organize the Peak Month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, and introducing the development of workers' party members.
In particular, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to organize the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month on April 25, at Suoi Dau Industrial Park (Cam Lam District).
Along with events such as the Insurance and Labor Information Learning Contest, "Union Meal" and "Workers' Market" with Nha Trang CoopMart Supermarket; the "Khanh Hoa Trade Union Shelter" program supports union members with housing difficulties.
occupational safety and health work has also been promoted through emulation movements, propaganda to raise awareness and supervision inspection in high-risk industries such as mining, construction, etc.
This is an opportunity for Khanh Hoa workers to not only be cared for but also promote their pioneering role, contributing to the sustainable development of the province and the country in the new era.
To spread the meaning of Workers' Month, the Provincial Federation of Labor has set a target of striving for at least 70% of enterprise-based trade unions and 50% of administrative and career-based trade unions to organize at least one activity in response to Workers' Month.
