Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee has just decided to lease more than 12,000m2 of land to Song Gam Hydropower Joint Stock Company to implement the 110kV power line item connecting to serve Bao Lac A Hydropower and Thuong Ha Hydropower Projects.
According to Decision No. 1065/QD-UBND dated June 4, 2026, the total leased land area is 12,060.9m2, including 44 foundation and column positions in Bao Lac, Co Ba and Khanh Xuan communes.
In which, Bao Lac commune has the largest area with 5,557.4m2 at 24 pile foundation positions; Co Ba commune 4,530.1m2 at 13 positions; Khanh Xuan commune 1,973.4m2 at 7 positions.
The above land area is used for energy project land purposes, serving the construction of a 110kV power line connecting two hydropower projects in Bao Lac district. The land lease term is until January 21, 2071, corresponding to the operating term of the Thuong Ha Hydropower Project.
The Provincial People's Committee leases land in the form of annual rent payment, without auctioning land use rights and without bidding to select investors.
Along with land leasing, the Provincial People's Committee assigns departments, branches and local authorities to carry out procedures for land handover on the ground, determine financial obligations, manage and supervise the land use process according to regulations.
Song Gam Hydropower Joint Stock Company is responsible for using land for the right purpose, fully fulfilling financial obligations, regulations on environmental protection, land registration and management of leased area according to the provisions of law.
Song Gam Hydropower Joint Stock Company is an enterprise operating in the field of hydropower investment in Cao Bang, currently a subsidiary of PC1 Group Joint Stock Company (PC1).
According to the group's announcement, PC1 is holding about 60% of capital in this enterprise. In addition to the Bao Lac A Hydropower Project, Song Gam Hydropower Plant is also the investor of the Thuong Ha Hydropower Project and a series of hydropower plants that have been operating along the Gam River.
