At the meeting with voters of the 10th term of the City People's Council, term 2021 - 2025 on December 27, Mr. Le Tan Ca - a voter of Cam Le district - reflected: 29.3 Park has long been a place of entertainment for many people, not only Da Nang but also Quang Nam province, but in recent years the park has been degraded, and there are not many entertainment activities left.
"City residents do not have a place to play and entertain even though the city has a large park like 29.3 Park. I hope the project to upgrade and renovate 29.3 Park will soon be implemented so that people have a place to play and entertain," said Mr. Ca.
Responding to voters' opinions, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Secretary of Cam Le District Party Committee, Delegate of Da Nang City People's Council - said that Da Nang 29.3 Park will start renovation in May 2025.
29.3 Park is the green core of Da Nang city center. However, this project is currently degraded, the entertainment items are rusted, limiting the attraction of tourists. The lake in the park has a lot of plastic waste causing pollution.
Previously, the investment project to upgrade and renovate 29.3 Park was included in the list of key projects of Da Nang city. In 2019, Da Nang organized a competition to find a plan to adjust the planning and architecture of 29.3 Park. At the same time, there was a plan to handle the zoo category to ensure environmental hygiene in the park.
