On the evening of March 11, social networks spread an image of Hanoi Traffic Police using a special motorbike to guide a taxi carrying patients during rush hour.
Through verification, the incident occurred at around 6:15 p.m. on March 11 in the Pham Hung - Tran Binh area (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi).
At that time, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6, who were on duty to prevent congestion, received a request for support from a young man riding a taxi with license plate 29H-871.34.
This person said that his father had nasopharyngeal cancer, suddenly coughed up blood and needed to go to Tan Trieu K Hospital urgently. However, due to the crowded streets, traveling is difficult.
In the face of an emergency situation, Senior Lieutenant Dang Thai Thinh - an officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 - reported to the unit commander and used a special motorbike to clear the road, helping taxis move quickly through the streets.
The journey lasted more than 10 km during rush hour, the traffic police force continuously regulated traffic, creating favorable conditions for vehicles carrying patients to the hospital in time.
Senior Lieutenant Thinh shared: "I feel very happy to have done something meaningful. This is also the responsibility of every traffic police officer when they see people in difficulty".
The person who needs traffic police support is Mr. H.T. Son (born in 2003, residing in Dan Phuong district, Hanoi).
Mr. Son emotionally expressed: "When I saw my father suddenly vomiting and bleeding, I was extremely shocked, just hoping the car would get to the hospital as quickly as possible. But the road was so crowded, the longer I waited, the more worried I was. Luckily, we were able to meet the traffic police to support us and arrived at the hospital in time. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the traffic police officer for guiding me as well as the entire Hanoi traffic police force. Thanks to this help, my family has overcome the most difficult moments."
