Dien Bien - The Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Provincial Police organizes support for people to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet on key national highways.

In addition to the task of traffic diversion and regulation, at 5 "support points", the traffic police force and Dien Bien Provincial Police also distributed drinking water of all kinds and free milk to road users.

Traffic police officers are also on duty to provide technical support and help people when vehicles encounter problems.

Along with that, propaganda and reminders to drivers to comply with traffic laws in highland weather conditions in the days leading up to Tet often have cold rain and thick fog, making the road surface slippery and visibility limited.
