According to the investigation, at 4:20 p.m. on December 8, Major Nguyen Minh Thai, an officer of the Cat Lai Traffic Police Team (HCMC Traffic Police Department) was on duty to direct traffic at the intersection of Mai Chi Tho - Luong Dinh Cua Street, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City. At this time, a father with a panicked face, holding a small child who was having a seizure, came to ask Major Thai for help to take him to the emergency room.
Major Nguyen Minh Thai immediately reported to the commander and used a special vehicle with sirens on to transport the father and son to Children's Hospital 2 for timely emergency care.
It is known that the baby, about 7 months old, had a high fever and was being taken by his father to Children's Hospital 2 when he suddenly had a seizure. Due to the traffic, the father was anxious and asked the police for help.
