Faced with increasing pressure from infrastructure projects being implemented in the area, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 (CSGT) - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police has simultaneously implemented many solutions to ensure traffic order and safety, while minimizing congestion in construction areas.
In which, projects such as the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section or the Nhon - Hanoi station metro line are entering the peak construction phase. The erection of barriers and narrowing of the road surface in many locations causes traffic space to shrink, directly affecting people's travel.
One of the points clearly under pressure is the De La Thanh route, where vehicle traffic is always high. During peak hours, slow and congested movement often occurs due to the impact of construction sites along the route.

To reduce the burden on "hot spots", the traffic police force has proactively reviewed traffic organization, and at the same time strengthened traffic diversion at important intersections such as La Thanh - Giang Vo, La Thanh - Hoang Cau or Cat Linh - Giang Vo area.
During peak hours, officers and soldiers are arranged to be on duty at checkpoints, guiding vehicles to move reasonably.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Thuyen - Deputy Head of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3, the unit has developed a plan to arrange forces according to each time frame, closely coordinating with local police to regulate traffic in construction areas.
At the same time, exchanges with construction units are also maintained to adjust the traffic organization plan to be flexible and suitable to reality.
Not only stopping at regulation, functional forces also coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Construction to inspect the scene, requesting contractors to optimize the scope of barriers, expand the road section for vehicles to circulate but still ensure safety and project progress according to the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee.
Reality at some points shows positive changes. The S10 Cat Linh station area has been widened the road surface, and temporary walkways are arranged along the fence.
At station S11 Van Mieu on Quoc Tu Giam street, the reduction of barriers significantly improves visibility and traffic space through the area.
Along with that, patrol and handling of violations continue to be maintained regularly.

Recorded on April 15, the task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 coordinated with Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Police to organize mobile inspections on Quoc Tu Giam route, focusing on handling acts of illegal parking, sidewalk and roadway encroachment for business purposes.
Sharing with PV, Captain Hoang Tuan Anh - officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 - said that although traffic on some routes has improved after adjusting barriers, the unit still maintains continuous inspections to promptly detect violations and avoid traffic jams again.

The synchronous combination of traffic regulation, temporary infrastructure adjustment and increased control has helped the traffic situation in the area gradually stabilize, ensuring the goal of both serving construction and keeping people's travel smooth.
