On the afternoon of October 22, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police held a conference to deploy a plan to ensure traffic order and safety (TTATGT) to serve the Opening Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia - Head of the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police emphasized that this is the first time Vietnam has been chosen by the United Nations to organize the opening ceremony of a global international treaty, affirming Vietnam's role, prestige and increasingly high position in the international arena.
deeply appreciating the significance and special importance of the event, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department has proactively developed and implemented a comprehensive plan, setting the highest goal of ensuring absolute safety for the activities of Party and State leaders, international delegations and delegates attending, while maintaining order, safety and smooth traffic throughout the capital.

Following the direction of Hanoi City Police, the Traffic Police Department mobilized maximum officers, soldiers, vehicles, and technical equipment, closely coordinating with functional forces to synchronously deploy measures to ensure absolute safety for activities throughout the event.
In addition to the task of welcoming and leading delegations and leaders of the Party and State, the Traffic Police force has increased their presence at key intersections, proactively grasping the situation, regulating traffic flow, and preventing congestion, especially during rush hour and on routes serving the Opening Ceremony of the Convention.
At the same time, working groups have increased patrols, mobile control, traffic monitoring through the camera system; promptly detected and strictly handled violations such as stopping and parking in violation of regulations, using alcohol while driving, not obeying traffic lights, carrying bulky goods, not wearing helmets... to maintain smooth traffic safety throughout the city.


The Traffic Police Department recommends that when traffic participants encounter vehicles with priority right to signal, they must urgently give up the road, absolutely comply with the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities, contributing to ensuring safety and smoothness for the operation of the Convention Opening Ceremony and the travel needs of the people of the Capital.
