On January 27, Mr. Phan Trong Lam, a worker at an industrial park in Binh Duong province, drove his wife and two children back to his hometown in Nghe An to celebrate Tet.
Due to the cold weather, the whole family traveled a long distance by motorbike, making them very tired. When Mr. Lam's family passed National Highway 1A in Dien An Commune, they were given cold towels, cakes, drinks, and were visited and encouraged by officers from the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station in Nghe An Province.
“The care, encouragement and support of Nghe An Traffic Police officers makes my family feel very warm. Thank you and wish you all the best in your mission” – Mr. Phan Trong Lam shared.
According to Nghe An Provincial Police, with the spirit of "working all night, all Tet", in addition to patrolling, controlling, and ensuring traffic safety, Nghe An Traffic Police have set up many support points and given gifts to support people on their journey home for Tet.
From early morning, officers and soldiers were present at the support points on National Highway 46 and National Highway 1A. Traffic police had prepared drinks, cakes, and wet towels to give to motorcyclists returning home for Tet.
Not only were people given food and drinks, the traffic police also informed them about new points in Decree 168 of the Government.
Although the gifts were not of great material value, the image of traffic police supporting people was beautiful and warm in the cold days at the end of the year. Thereby, it contributed to sharing and encouraging people after a year of hard work to return home to celebrate Tet happily and safely.
