According to Phu Tho Provincial Police, in the last days of the Lunar New Year holiday, when people across the country begin to return to the city to work and study, the traffic volume increases sharply, posing many risks of congestion and traffic accidents.
Faced with that situation, Cluster 5 - Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 has strengthened mobile patrols and controls, proactively grasping the situation on routes and areas in charge.
At the same time, the unit also regularly updates the traffic situation on the map to detect points at risk of congestion, quickly identify the causes and arrange forces to support, regulate, and resolve them promptly.

In particular, the unit has simultaneously launched a campaign to strictly handle violations, focusing on inspecting passenger transport business vehicles.
On February 21 (ie, the 5th day of Tet), Cluster 5 discovered and recorded 12 cases of passenger cars carrying more people than prescribed; fined with a total amount of 272,500,000 VND; deducted points from 4 driver's licenses and revoked 4 vehicle badges.
