Through inspection, driver N.V.A (born 1976, residing in Khanh Hoa province) admitted to driving a transport business car more than working hours as prescribed. The traffic police force made a record of violation.
According to regulations, drivers who conduct business transport vehicles more than working hours as prescribed will be fined from 3 - 5 million VND and have 2 points off their driver's license.
For the vehicle owner, V.T.S. 9 Cooperative, functional agencies determined that they had handed over the vehicle to an employee to operate a transport business vehicle beyond the working time as prescribed.
This act is fined from 8 - 12 million VND.
The Traffic Police force recommends that driving continuously for more than 4 hours increases the risk of fatigue, drowsiness, reduces the ability to observe and handle situations, and potentially causes serious traffic accidents.
