At the end of July 2026, many resettlement areas serving two key expressway projects in Lam Dong were urgently constructed, mobilizing maximum machinery and manpower to complete technical infrastructure.
In Da Huoai commune, the resettlement area serving the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway has a scale of more than 12.5ha with 140 lots, total investment of more than 151 billion VND, currently reaching about 60% of the volume. In which, ground leveling reaches 90%, rainwater drainage system 80%, wastewater drainage 70%; traffic, water supply, lighting and green tree items reach about 50%.
Chairman of Da Huoai Commune People's Committee Luu Hong Long said that the locality is focusing on handling problems, strengthening dialogue to create consensus in compensation, and at the same time coordinating with the investor to accelerate the construction progress.
In Di Linh commune, the Gung Re resettlement area is one of the fastest-progressing projects, covering an area of more than 5.3ha with 107 resettlement plots and commercial - service land, with a total investment of more than 70 billion VND.
To date, the entire site has been handed over; traffic, electricity supply, lighting and water supply items have been completed.
Chairman of Di Linh Commune People's Committee Tran Nhat Thi said that the locality is coordinating with the investor and construction unit to remove difficulties, propagate and mobilize people to agree to soon stabilize their lives in the new place of residence.
In B'Lao ward, the resettlement area is more than 3ha wide with 78 land plots reaching about 51% of the contract value after nearly 6 months of construction. The transportation system is basically completed; water supply, drainage, fire prevention and fighting and electrical infrastructure items are being implemented, expected to be put into use in August 2026.
In parallel with the construction of resettlement areas, site clearance for two expressway projects has also been accelerated. By the end of July 2026, the Tan Phu - Bao Loc project had approved compensation plans for 827/929 households (89%), more than 473 households received money, handed over nearly 111ha of land, reaching nearly 28% of the recovered area.
Meanwhile, the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong project has approved compensation plans for 97% of households, more than 2,040 households have received money and handed over nearly 472ha of land, reaching nearly 76% of the entire route area.
According to Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1, the progress of resettlement areas directly determines site clearance and the implementation of two expressway projects. The unit is coordinating with localities, investors and contractors to remove obstacles in site clearance, materials, and investment procedures; and at the same time increase human resources and equipment to compensate for progress.
Through many field inspections, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested localities to prioritize completing resettlement areas before or in parallel with the land recovery progress, ensuring that people have new housing before handing over land. Technical infrastructure and social infrastructure must be invested synchronously so that people can soon stabilize their lives.
