Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, at around 8:30 a.m. on April 28, during patrolling and controlling, the working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 15 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department discovered an old man cycling on Nhat Tan Bridge in the direction from the inner city to Dong Anh District.
Notably, the old man moved in the wrong direction on the lane for cars at a maximum speed of 90 km/h, posing a high risk of causing traffic insecurity.
As soon as they discovered it, the working group quickly stopped the vehicle, approached, and urgently took the old man out of the danger zone.
After discussing, realizing that the old man was not showing signs of being unclear, the working group coordinated with the commune police to contact his family to pick him up.

According to regulations, Nhat Tan Bridge prohibits rudimentary vehicles from circulating from 5am to 10pm every day; only allows rudimentary vehicles to circulate from 10pm the previous day to 5am the following day.
The above situation is also a reminder for families to pay attention to the elderly, especially when driving vehicles in traffic, to ensure the safety of relatives and the community.
