On the afternoon of August 7, Mr. Le Van Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Council - and the delegation No. 19 of the Hai Phong City People's Council met with voters of the wards: Le Thanh Nghi, Thanh Dong, Thach Khoi, Tan Hung, Viet Hoa, Tu Minh, Nam Dong, Ai Quoc and Hai Duong after the regular meeting in mid-2025, the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026.
At the meeting, the delegation informed voters about the results of the 29th Session of the City People's Council, especially important contents related to planning, public investment, administrative reform, social security, socio-economic development after merging administrative boundaries and building 2-level local governments.
Voters in the wards highly appreciate the spirit of innovation and responsibility of the City People's Council, especially the issuance of resolutions that are close to reality and promptly meet the development requirements of the city in the new period.
Also at the conference, voters raised many opinions and recommendations focusing on essential areas such as environmental sanitation, traffic safety, urban order management, construction progress of key projects, compensation and site clearance policies, the operation of the government apparatus after the merger, administrative procedure reform, etc. Many opinions expressed the hope that all levels and sectors will continue to pay attention and completely resolve long-standing shortcomings that directly affect people's lives.
The opinions under their authority were directly answered and clarified by city leaders, representatives of the delegation and local leaders at the conference. For issues beyond the authority, delegate group No. 19 of the City People's Council recorded and compiled them to forward to the City People's Council and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in the coming time.
