The Ho Son 1 Industrial Cluster (CCN) technical infrastructure construction investment project has a total investment of 814 billion VND, invested by Gia Dinh Northern Industrial Investment Joint Stock Company, and was started in May 2024.
The industrial park is deployed on an area of over 73 hectares in two communes: Cai Kinh and Ho Son of Huu Lung district (Lang Son). The prime location is near National Highway 1A, Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway and not far from major industrial centers of Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang.
According to Lao Dong's records at the beginning of February 2025, after nearly 1 year of implementation, the Ho Son Industrial Park project has gradually taken shape.
Currently, contractors are in the process of leveling and taking soil from high places to lower places to create a flat surface for the project. At the same time, they are implementing the underground drainage bridge project.
At the construction site, machinery and vehicles are ready so that right after the holiday, workers can start construction, speeding up the project's progress.
Ms. Nong Bich Hong, a local resident who works as a worker in an industrial park in Thai Nguyen, has to be away from home for long periods of time. When she learned that the locality was planning to build an industrial park, she and many others hoped that the project would be completed soon so that they could have the opportunity to work closer to home and have a more stable life.
Similarly, Ms. Hoang Thi Lan (Huu Lung) also hopes that the project will soon be completed and put into operation, creating many job opportunities for local people, especially female workers.
"Many local women go to industrial parks in Binh Duong, Long An... to make a living, only returning once a year. If the local industrial park is completed, we can work close to home, still taking care of our family and children without having to go far," Ms. Lan added.
On February 5, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thang - Vice Chairman of Huu Lung District People's Committee said that the Ho Son 1 Industrial Park project is currently in the site clearance stage and has basically been completed. The industrial park project is expected to be completed in 2025.
This is one of the key projects in Huu Lung district. When completed and put into operation, it is expected to attract over 20 industries and investment sectors, creating jobs for over 6,500 workers, thereby improving the lives of local people.
