Quang Chu Industrial Cluster Project has a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND, invested by Osen Fuji Bac Kan Joint Stock Company, started construction in October 2024, and is expected to be completed in 2025.
Deployed on an area of over 74 hectares in Dong Luong village, Quang Chu commune (Cho Moi, Bac Kan), in a prime location, close to the Cho Moi - Thai Nguyen Expressway.
Quang Chu Industrial Cluster is a key project of Bac Kan province. When completed and put into operation, it is expected to create jobs for about 10,000 workers, contributing to the local budget from 500 - 700 billion VND/year.
According to PV's records in mid-January 2025, after more than 3 months of construction, the project's shape has gradually emerged.
At the construction site, workers, machines, and vehicles are leveling and compacting the ground to create a flat surface for the project. At the same time, groundwater exploration and rock drilling for the wastewater treatment area are underway...
Mr. Pham Thanh Xuyen, a worker at the construction site, said that since the project started, human resources and equipment have been mobilized to the maximum to urgently carry out site clearance.
"Currently, in addition to leveling, we are also conducting underground water surveys and constructing sewer pipes... the work process is going relatively smoothly, taking advantage of dry weather to speed up progress, trying to complete some items before Tet," said Mr. Xuyen.
Speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Tran Quang Thach - Quang Chu Industrial Cluster Project Management Board - said that the project's current progress has reached 40% of the workload, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
"This is one of the meaningful and key projects of Bac Kan province. Putting it into operation will attract many investors, thereby creating thousands of jobs, and improving and developing the economic life of the region," Mr. Thach emphasized.
