On June 23, a working delegation of the Department of Industry and Trade of Hung Yen province led by Mr. Vu Thanh Van - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade - inspected the reality and worked with the People's Committee of Hung Ha commune on the progress of the project to invest in construction and business of technical infrastructure of Van Lang Industrial Cluster.
Before the working session, the working delegation inspected the project implementation area. According to the report of Hung Ha Commune People's Committee, Van Lang Industrial Cluster was approved for establishment by the Provincial People's Committee according to Decision No. 2678 dated November 24, 2022 with a scale of about 70ha.
The project is expected to contribute to expanding the industrial development space, attracting investment, creating jobs for local workers and promoting socio-economic development in the area. Over the past time, Hung Ha Commune People's Committee has coordinated with the investor to implement procedures according to regulations, review dossiers and complete steps to serve site clearance work.
Up to now, the land ownership work to serve site clearance phase 1 with an area of 30.9ha has been completed in Vinh Truyen, Phu Khu, My Luong and Thuong Phuc villages. For Thuong Ngan 1 and Thuong Ngan 2 villages, the locality is continuing to review and complete dossiers to ensure progress.
At the working session, delegates exchanged views on difficulties and obstacles related to land, investment, site clearance as well as changes in legal regulations in the past time, and at the same time proposed solutions to remove obstacles to accelerate project progress.
Speaking in conclusion, Mr. Vu Thanh Van acknowledged the proactiveness of Hung Ha Commune People's Committee and the investor in the project implementation process. The Director of the Department of Industry and Trade requested the locality to urgently complete site clearance phase 1 with an area of 30.9ha, ensuring the handover of clean land to the investor before September 30, 2026.
For phase 2 with an area of about 39ha, which is currently not on the list of projects to recover land, the Commune People's Committee needs to proactively coordinate with departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and supplementation to the list at the nearest meeting, creating a legal basis for implementation, striving to complete site clearance before December 31, 2026.
Along with that, Thang Long Textile and Dyeing Export Co., Ltd. is required to focus financial and human resources, closely coordinate with local authorities to implement the project, determined to complete the entire technical infrastructure of Van Lang Industrial Cluster before June 30, 2027.
Mr. Nguyen Van Truong - Chairman of Hung Ha Commune People's Committee affirmed that the locality identifies Van Lang Industrial Cluster as a key project, which is of great significance to the socio-economic development of the commune.
In the coming time, the Commune People's Committee will continue to focus on directing and strengthening coordination with departments, branches and investors to remove difficulties, accelerate site clearance progress, and create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented soon according to plan.
