Initial information, at around 10:18 p.m. on November 21, a fire broke out at house number 43, group 12, Thach Ban ward, Long Bien district.
Upon receiving the news, the local fire prevention and fighting forces and the joint fire prevention and fighting team quickly arrived to assist. However, because there were people trapped inside and panicking, the local forces were unable to handle the situation.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Long Bien District Police, Fire Fighting Team of Area 1, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) arrived promptly and quickly approached the house to rescue the trapped people.
Here, the working group determined that the fire originated from the first floor mezzanine of the house, and the fire was at risk of spreading to other areas. The working groups handled the fire to prevent it from spreading to clear the way for the fire fighting force to approach and search and rescue.
Determining that there were 2 victims trapped on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the house, the working group quickly used ladders and safety ropes to deploy on the balcony of the house.
The fire fighting force quickly and accurately operated safely in a short time to bring the two victims to safety, and the fire was completely extinguished.
