Typhoon Bualoi - the 20th typhoon in the Pacific Ocean this year - is expected to affect southern China with strong winds and heavy rain.
According to the latest storm news at 6:00 a.m. on September 29, the center of storm No. 10 Bualoi was at about 18.7 degrees north latitude; 105.3 degrees east longitude, on the mainland of Nghe An - Ha Tinh (Vietnam). The strongest wind near the storm center is level 9 (75-88km/h), gusting to level 11.
It is forecasted that in the next 3 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction, at a speed of about 20-25km/h.
Bualoi is the 20th storm to hit the Pacific Ocean this year.

Mr. Hoang Trac, Deputy Director of the National Meteorological Center (NMC) of China, warned: "Storm Bualoi will cause strong winds and prolonged heavy rain in southern China, directly affecting Hainan, southwest of Guangdong, south of Guangxi, west of Guizhou and south of Yunnan".
Last September, the Pacific and East Sea continuously produced storms. China alone has welcomed 6 storms, of which 3 directly made landfall. The average rainfall nationwide reached 80.1mm, 32.4% higher than the same period, ranking 4th in history since 28.
Experts warn that October is not yet peaceful. The Northwest Pacific and East Sea regions may see 4-6 storms, 3.5 times higher than the average. Of which, 1-2 are at risk of making landfall directly on the Chinese coast.

Mr. Tieu San, Deputy Director of the National Climate Center of China, said that in October, most of the country's regions will have temperatures higher than the average of many years. In northern China, Inner Mongolia, the Northwest and Xinjiang may be slightly colder.
Rain will still be abundant in many places such as Siam Tay, Ninh Ha, Cam Tuc, Dong Quang Tay, Hainan, and the whole region of Tibet. Rainfall exceeds 20-50% compared to average. In the next 10 days, two heavy rains are expected to fall on Tu Xuyen, Thieu Tay, Trung Khanh, Ho Bac and Ha Nam basins. This can disrupt mechanical harvesting, directly affecting the sowing progress of the harvest in many localities.
