Dak Lak - The authorities promptly successfully rescued a fishing boat of fishermen while preparing to go to sea when it encountered an incident.

On September 14, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) informed that the authorities had just successfully rescued a fishing boat of local people, preventing the boat from sinking.

Accordingly, at around 6:00 a.m. on September 14, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 8 received a report that a fishing boat was anchored at the port (in Phu Yen ward) and was preparing to go to sea when the incident occurred.

Specifically, the ship was flooded, partly sunk and was at risk of being completely sunk.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 8 assigned officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to the scene to carry out the rescue work.

The authorities have pumped all the water out of the boat's body, helping the floating vessels return to stability and safety, preventing the risk of sinking.

Thanks to timely support, the authorities have helped people protect an estimated VND 1.2 billion in assets.
