Bringing a full Tet to the border region
On February 7th (ie December 20th of the lunar calendar), in Put village, Hung Son commune, Da Nang City People's Committee organized the program "Border Spring - Warming People's Hearts" Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
This is the 11th year the program has been organized. With the message "Don't leave anyone behind", this year's program focuses resources on supporting livelihoods and practical infrastructure for people with a total budget of nearly 6.5 billion VND.

The organizing committee presented: 2 ambulances (1.5 billion VND), 1 storm shelter (600 million VND) and 1 new school point (600 million VND); 12 "Border Shelter" houses worth 720 million VND and 10 breeding cows (180 million VND) handed directly to ethnic minority households for economic development.
In particular, 2,700 Tet gifts (1 million VND each) were given to poor households, families affected by natural disasters in Hung Son commune and people in border villages in Laos, helping people have a more fulfilling Tet.
Strengthening military-civilian ties
In addition to gift-giving activities, the program created a true festival day in Put village with echoing gong sounds, a camp with art performances "Tay Giang Melody", a highland culinary space and unique folk games.

Social care activities took place sôi nổi such as: Medical examinations and free medicine distribution for 500 people; awarding 50 scholarships to poor students overcoming difficulties and gifts for children in the program "Raising Steps for Children to School - Foster Children of Border Guard Stations"; deploying the "Border Guard Pull-up" model; mobile film screenings and book displays serving students.
The program is a deep gratitude from the Party Committee, government and border guard forces to ethnic minorities - the "living milestones" that have stood side by side to protect national sovereignty and border security over the past time.
