On March 3, a delegation from the City Military Command (CHQS) led by Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, came to inspect the preparations for the 2026 troop handover and reception ceremony at troop handover and reception points under the Command of Defense Area 1 - Cam Le.

At the inspection locations, the working delegation focused on comprehensively reviewing the contents serving the ceremony such as decoration, celebration, arrangement of troop receiving areas, delegate reception plans, ensuring security and order, traffic safety, and taking care of youth's health before enlistment.
Colonel Tran Huu Ich requested agencies, units and localities to continue to thoroughly inspect each part of the work, not to be passive; closely coordinate with relevant forces to ensure that the troop handover and reception ceremony takes place solemnly, safely, and in accordance with regulations.
The Commander of the City Military Command emphasized that the organization process must be quickly and tightly ensured, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, truly being a military service day for the city's youth; and at the same time encouraging young people to feel secure and enthusiastically set off to perform their sacred duty to the Fatherland.


To best prepare for the troop handover day, the City Military Command has also established 5 working groups to inspect all localities, directly grasp the situation, urge, and guide the completion of the remaining tasks.
According to the plan, the 2026 military service handover and reception ceremony will take place tomorrow morning, March 4th, at 14 locations in the city. This year, the whole city has more than 4,600 young people enlisting, showing the spirit of responsibility, will and patriotic tradition of Da Nang youth.
